Situado en pleno barrio de Salamanca, a un agradable paseo de las calles Velazquez y Serrano, muy bien comunicado y con una parada de metro justo a la esquina (linea 5, parada Diego de Leon). Quien venga de la Estación de Atocha, que coja en la misma estación la Linea 1 (sentido Pinar Chamartin) y se baje en Gran Vía, y alli coja Linea 5, sentido Alameda de Osuna, y se baje en la parada de Diego de León, justo antes de llegar a la calle donde se encuentra el hotel, tiene como referencia una Pizzeria Dominos). El menú del dia del hotel, está muy bien, el desayuno muy bueno, aunque por poner un pero, tal vez,el café de la máquina. Todo el personal es muy amable. Muy buena limpieza de la habitación, aunque a todo el mundo no puede gustarle la decoración de los pasillos y de las habitaciones Peros: nuestro baño, muy grande, pero sin bidé, y habitación con muchos ruidos y oscura, evitar la 1ª planta, daba a un patio interior. Por lo demas, muy buena opción para visitar Madrid, ya que , como he mencionado antes, esta muy bien comunicado y a unos 10 minutos andando de Velazquez y Serrano, hasta el centro hay unos 30-45 minutos en un muy agradable paseo, limpio, buena gastronomia.buen colchon Repetiriamos. The hotel is located in a residential district within walking distance (15-20") of the city center and with the metro (Diego de Leon) just steps away. Plenty of bars and cafes in the neighborhood. I LOVED the rooms: clean, comfortable, and spacious. Luxurious bathroom and a very comfy bed. The breakfast is quite good, with all the standard Spanish items (cheese, jamon, and a good selection of croissants and other baked goods) along with fruit, yogurt, and eggs and bacon for the western crowd. My room, on the 6th floor, was very quiet. I was visiting family nearby and had previously stayed at a much less expensive hostal, but it was pretty dismal overall.
